Beck is learning to fly... uh, crawl.

Beck is already worlds ahead of Daphne.  She wouldn't let one inch of her touch grass at this age. 

Daphne is pretty daring.  She set the slide up over the deck stairs and went right off them!  That's our fearless girl.

Beck's first puzzle!  He had a great time with it.  Not as good at putting it together as taking it apart, but he still had fun.

I took the kids to my friend's park "the Farm" and we enjoyed some time with friends in the hot weather.  Daphne went skinny dipping and Beck hung out with me.

Daphne got her first set of pony tails!  Aren't they adorable???  They're not quite long enough to stay in.  By lunch time they look pretty scraggley and after nap time there is less hair in the pony tails then out of them.  But they sure look cute for the first 10 minutes!

I think Beck is going to take after his Grandpa Jim, cousin York, and his daddy, all of whom are quite mechanically inclined.  He already loves all things electronic like phones, remotes,  palm pilots, cameras, etc.  And he is NOT fooled by those cheap children's versions.  He wants the REAL kind.
